I have a different proposed solution. Stay away from Microsoft. Now. Forever. Permanently. This is the most incompetent company in the computer business today.

If you buy a new, Windows 10 pre-installed machine, as I just did, and the very first thing it does is freeze and get hung up just trying to install friggin' updates, and Microsoft has to guide you through a bunch of troubleshooting steps, that tells you something.

It tells you Microsoft products are poorly engineered, defective, and will always be a time consuming headache.

Quit Microsoft, until Microsoft quits the computer industry.

Try Ubuntu or something like that instead. It has a sound architecture and update mechanism that never fails. Microsoft should stick to making applications and leave operating systems to people who know what an operating system architecture is.

Yes lets face it, even a long time Windows user like myself has to be honest Windows 10 is complete ****...what were they thinking, Fix it or trash it. I hate using it. Crashes hangs up ...preparing for automatic repair, updates wont download even after doing all the things that are supposed to resolve, just totally stinks. Vista we made fun of but 10 sucks 10 time worse maybe that's why it was named 10
